Doha, Qatar: Qatar Meteorology, in a weather update, stated that cloud amounts are expected to increase across the country from Friday, December 12, 2025, and continue through next week.
This is expected to bring cloudy conditions with chances of rain of varying intensity, along with periods of strong winds.
In its weekend forecast for today, December 11, through Saturday, December 13, 2025, the department said there are indications of scattered clouds over the country.
The department noted that this could lead to thundery rain accompanied by strong winds starting tomorrow, Friday, December 12, 2025.
Thundery rain is also expected on Saturday, December 13, with partly cloudy to cloudy skies and chances of scattered showers in some areas.
Temperatures over the weekend will range between a minimum of 21°C and a maximum of 28°C.
Winds on Friday will be northeasterly at 5-15 knots, while on Saturday they will be 5-15 knots northwesterly-northeasterly, with gusts reaching up to 30 knots during rainfall.
Wave heights will range between 2 and 4 feet, rising to as high as 8 feet during periods of rain.
The Civil Aviation Authority (Meteorological Department) urged the public to exercise caution during this weather condition and to follow all safety instructions and receive updates from official sources.
